What the converter does

Parses all labeled geometry
Reads every face from the SoundVision export — audience planes, reflection surfaces, seating areas — and maps them to ArrayCalc surface types.
Rotation & mirror control
The coordinate systems don't always align. Rotate by 0°, 90°, 180°, or 270° and optionally mirror left/right until the 2D preview matches your venue orientation.
Complex polygon handling
Faces with more than four vertices are automatically split into valid sub-planes — ArrayCalc's quad limit is handled for you.
Live 2D preview
Top-down canvas preview updates in real time so you can verify orientation before downloading the .dbacv file.
Runs entirely in the browser
No file is ever uploaded to a server. The conversion happens locally in JavaScript — suitable for production drawings under NDA.

Who uses this

This tool bridges a specific workflow gap that comes up regularly in live sound system design in the Netherlands and internationally: using Vectorworks with the L-Acoustics SoundVision plugin for venue CAD, then switching to d&b ArrayCalc for loudspeaker simulation. Both tools work with the same physical geometry, but there is no native import path between them. Re-entering coordinates by hand for every audience plane and reflection surface is time-consuming and error-prone. This converter eliminates that step.
