What the converter does

One overlay file per channel
Each DSP channel in your Smaart Data Modeler export becomes its own Lake Controller .ovl file, ready to recall directly in Lake.
Full filter data preserved
Filter type, frequency, gain, and bandwidth (Q) are all extracted from the .lpif and mapped to the Lake overlay format exactly.
Visual EQ preview per channel
The tool renders a frequency response curve for each channel before you download, so you can verify the import parsed correctly.
Batch download
All channel overlay files are packaged and downloaded in one action — no need to export channels one at a time.
Runs entirely in the browser
The .lpif file is parsed locally in JavaScript. Nothing is sent to a server — suitable for measurement data under client NDA.

Who uses this

This tool is for live sound system engineers who use Lake processing (LM26, LM44, or similar) as part of their system alignment workflow, with Smaart as their measurement and analysis platform. The Smaart → Lake path comes up on large-scale touring and fixed-installation projects where measurement overlays need to be turned into processor settings quickly and accurately — particularly for multi-channel systems where manual entry across many DSP channels introduces risk of transcription errors.
